Can I contact the booking agent after check-in to shorten my reservation and get a refund for the unused part of my reservation?

Most agents will be cooperative/understanding regarding amendment and shortened reservations.

However the decision ultimately rests with the hotel - not the agent.

After your check-in and payment for the full duration of your reservation to the hotel, the agent must abide by the specific hotel policies.

Howewer, if the hotel agrees to refund any partially unused reservation, the agent will certainly refund this part of your payment as well.

We strongly advise you to make your reservation for the exact duration of your stay (not more - not less) if your dates are firm and decided.
