You advertise rates inclusive of all taxes and service charges. Still you ask for an extra 3%, 4% or 5% in "Service Charge" to process my payment on-line. Why is this? And why this difference 3%, 4% or 5%?

There are several reasons why we determined this extra charge does not have to be included in the advertised rates:

First of all, our agents only request for on-line payment to cover 1 night. It means that for the remainder of your payment you will have the possibility to pay the agent without charge for on-line payment.

Secondly, the % of extra charge depends on the e-commerce systems we use and on the final receiver of your payment. In some case the transaction is direct. In other cases we have to forward the payment by on-line transfers with fixed extra charge. And in some other cases we work with weekly/monthly accounting and regular bank transfers. Because of our policy to always look for the provider of the best rates for every hotel, these charges tend to vary all the time and we could not keep both our pages and databases updated with the price changes. (So we simply add a variable % on the booking form of every hotel)
