Why do you say that "booking requests are handled without credit card pre-payments if a confirmed flight reference is provided"? I informed you my flight reference but you still request for a payment.

What we mean is: the agent will receive your inquiry/request and contact the hotel to check about availability for the period you request (and usually make a temporary request for reservation) AND contact you to give you the availability information - without any guarantee/payment necessary on your side at this point.

If no flight reference is provided, the request may not be handled - if it is not guaranteed by a credit card authorization for a 1 night charge (your payment being on hold pending confirmation of your reservation).

(This will only be the case during period of high occupancy and heavy workload for the agents)

Please note however:

In case your check-in date is within five days (of the day when you request the reservation), the agent may not handle your request if it is not guaranteed by a credit card authorization for a 1 night charge (your payment being on hold pending confirmation of your reservation).

Please refer to the information on the booking forms for the hotel of your choice (STEP. 2 of "BOOKING REQUEST" FORMS) for more details about requirement for short notice reservations.

Please note however:

There are a few hotels that will accept and hold un-guaranteed reservations. (note: These hotels do not have credit card icons next to their "booking" button)

You may be able to receive confirmation of your reservation without credit card payment.

THIS IS POSSIBLE DURING PERIOD OF LOW OCCUPANCY AND AT SOME HOTELS ONLY (mostly hotels in Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai and a few hotels in Bangkok).

As a general rule, hotels will cancel any unpaid reservation at the absolute latest "deadline" of 06:00 PM on check-in day.

So we strongly advise you to always guarantee your reservations with a credit card payment for first night.

In case of late check-in (after 06:00 PM), this is a necessity at all hotels.
